Sri Lanka is a land where tropical beaches, lush tea plantations, and ancient temples form a mosaic of breathtaking landscapes. Colombo buzzes with life, filled with colorful markets, the aroma of spices, and vibrant street food stalls. Roads leading inland wind through the green hills of Nuwara Eliya, where tea grows on steep slopes and the air is infused with the scent of fresh leaves. The island is home to countless temples, from sacred Buddhist shrines hidden in the mountains to majestic coastal complexes. Each telling a story of faith, history, and tradition. The coastline enchants with golden sands and an ocean that lures surfers and swimmers every day. In the south, you can encounter slow-moving sea turtles, while in the national parks, elephants and leopards roam freely in their natural habitat. Sri Lanka is also about its people, smiling, hospitable, and proud of their culture. It’s a place where every day brings new discoveries, and the memories stay with you for a lifetime.

Our journey to Sri Lanka became more than just a family adventure. It turned into a well of inspiration for Mr. Strapsky. This is how the Guitar Straps Inspired by Travels collection was born. The island’s landscapes are a living palette: the golden tones of the beaches, the lush green shades of tea plantations, and the deep reds and oranges of temple murals. Textures of silk chiffon fabrics echo the flowing robes seen in sacred shrines. Earthy browns and warm sands recall the rustic charm of village life. It’s a city that never sleeps, and its people greet everyone with a smile and openness. Beyond the bustling metropolis lie paradise islands and wild, almost untouched beaches. These places are true treasures for lovers of adventure and tranquility, where you can explore the underwater world, relax on white sands, and enjoy fresh local fruits straight from the tree. Thailand is not only about flavors and landscapes. Also about people, warm, hospitable, and ready to share their culture and traditions. It’s a place that leaves a mark on the heart of everyone who visits.

This trip took me through three unique places, each with its own character. Langkawi is a paradise with sandy beaches and lush greenery, where the sea meets the mountains, and local legends blend with everyday life. George Town in Penang captivates with colonial architecture, colorful murals, and a rich culture that merges tradition with modernity. Narrow streets are filled with the aromas and flavors of local cuisine, tempting with spices and fresh ingredients. Koh Lipe in Thailand is a true paradise for lovers of crystal-clear waters and vibrant underwater life. White beaches and lively coral reefs create perfect conditions for diving and relaxation. It’s a place where time slows down, and nature impresses with its simplicity and beauty. This journey combined a diversity of cultures, landscapes, and flavors that stay with you long after the trip ends.

On the island, you can discover wild dunes reminiscent of desert scenery, as well as numerous bays ideal for diving and snorkeling. Boa Vista is a place where nature and culture blend into daily life, and the taste of local cuisine, rich in fresh fish and tropical fruits, completes the unique experience. It’s an island that impresses with its simplicity and authenticity, offering peace far from crowds and the busy world.

The Eiffel Tower dominates the city’s skyline, offering views that are hard to forget. Disneyland buzzes with life and guarantees great fun for all ages. Walking through the streets, you can come across numerous galleries and stalls where local artists showcase their work. The Seine flows calmly through the heart of Paris, giving the city a unique atmosphere. Local cafés and restaurants invite you to try traditional dishes and savor the moment. Paris combines history, culture, and modernity, creating a place that inspires and stays in your memory for a long time.

My first morning in Barcelona was filled with the aroma of fresh churros and coffee drifting from tiny cafés along the narrow streets of El Born. Walking toward the sea, I passed the colorful stalls of La Boqueria, overflowing with fruit, olives, and aromatic cheeses. It’s a true paradise for photographers. Gaudí’s mosaic-covered facades, lively narrow streets, and the golden glow of sunset creating endless frames. The cuisine delighted with tapas, fresh seafood, and wine from nearby Catalonia. While after dark the city transformed into a vibrant hub of nightlife. Barcelona is also a city of museums and artists, from Picasso and Miró to street performers along La Rambla. Every day here felt like a new canvas, where colors, flavors, and sounds blended into a unique masterpiece.

I try to capture the city’s vibrant energy, color, and texture. The mosaic patterns of Gaudí’s architecture influenced intricate fabric designs, while the warm Mediterranean tones and sunsets shaped rich, bold color palettes. Arriving in Muscat, I was instantly struck by the scent of spices at the local market like cinnamon, cardamom, dried limes. A few hours later, while crossing the desert, I passed caravans of camels that would sometimes lazily block the road. In the mountain villages, time seemed to slow down. The call to prayer blended with the laughter of children playing in narrow alleyways. Along the ocean, waves crashed against rocky shores, while fishermen pulled fresh fish from their nets. Oman turned out to be a place where every day told a different story. From desert adventures to evenings with mint-scented tea.

This trip inspired a unique collection of guitar straps inspired by Oman, capturing the essence of its desert landscapes, vibrant markets, and coastal beauty. Stone Town beckons with its narrow streets full of history, colorful doors, and markets packed with exotic spices. The white sandy beaches and turquoise waters are a paradise for surfers and backpackers seeking close contact with nature. The hot sun, blazing sand, and endless waves create perfect conditions for both adventure and relaxation. Local fishermen return each morning with fresh catches, while the island’s flavors, from spicy biryani to sweet tropical fruits linger long after the journey ends. Zanzibar is an island full of colors, scents, and stories that stay with you forever.

Israel is a country where ancient history intertwines with modern life. Jerusalem enchants with the labyrinth of narrow streets in its Old City, the scent of spices drifting from bustling markets, and the sound of prayers rising from sites sacred to three religions. Tel Aviv is the complete opposite, a vibrant metropolis with modern architecture, wide beaches, and an endless nightlife. Along the Mediterranean coast, charming towns invite exploration. While a journey south leads to the Negev Desert and the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea in Eilat. The Dead Sea offers the unique experience of floating effortlessly, surrounded by striking rock formations and desert landscapes.

Israel is also about its food, fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs, and dishes. Like hummus and tahini, whose rich flavors come alive at local bazaars. The taste of freshly made hummus, creamy tahini, and warm pita bread is an essential part of the experience, offering a direct connection to the land and its traditions. It’s a place where cultures, flavors, and traditions meet, creating a truly unique mosaic of experiences.
